The suit is made up of 7 oz aluminized PBI/Kevlar material; and it is specifically designed for maintenance repairs in high-heat areas (such as working with melting/refining/casting furnaces), and offers 95% heat reflectivity. The standard hard-hat style fiberglass-shell headgear with 7/11 panoramic and gold-film-covered window-shield locks on with an aluminum bracket. Proximity suit that offers 2950F radiant heat protection is designed for ambient temperatures up to 600F. The suit features a unique neoprene-coated polycotton liner that serves as thermal protection vapor barrier for hot liquids or steam.
