The QuikMelt Pro 10 top loading kiln is the perfect solution for the metal treating artist looking for mobility. Works effectively with gold, silver, lead, copper, zinc, and more. With it’s ultra-light 10 lb compact design (6″ x 6″ x 12″), the QuikMelt 10 offers the best of functionality and portability. The QuikMelt10 comes with a 10 Troy oz crucible, digital control panel, 1500 watts of power, and rapidly heats to over 2200 F for all your metal working needs. *30, 60, 100 and 120 Troy oz sizes also available.
**Due to the nature of stainless steel under extreme temperatures, the steel surface will experience tempering and coloration changes.
The QuikMelt Pro series kilns are designed with a lightweight, but extremely durable Gemcolite Alumina Fiber insert formed using a composition of alumina-silicate, alumina and mullite fibers and include both inorganic and organic binders for excellent handling strength and material integrity at high temperatures.
With RAPIDHEAT technology, the QuikMelt Pro series top-loading kilns are able to fire to a max. temperature of 2200 F in just under 8 minutes! By reducing heating and cooling times, the QuikMelt Pro helps to minimize electrical costs and ensures that you're able to complete more projects per hour.
QuikMelt's utilize a Digital PID temperature controller with auto-tuning function and artificial intelligent enhancement for precision temperature control. The output can be set for SSR output control or relay contractor control by the user.
QuikMelt's are designed from the ground up to offer a portable solution for metal treatment projects, and inlcude a zinc-plated handle and secure latch.
Your QuikMelt Pro package comes complete with 10" Stainless steel Crucible tongs, 1-10 Troy oz. graphite crucible, and 1-year manufacturer warranty. Additional product accessories are available through our partner resellers.
All QuikMelt Pro kilns come with a lathe machined graphite crucible made of high grade fine graphite to provide optimum performance and durability. Graphite provides maximum resistance to oxidation while metal is being melted. Designed to perform well in typical melting/casting temperatures: 1562-2912 F (850-1600 C).
